The bed was nice ... There was not any more handicapped rooms available. It was hard to get into the rooms because I had to grab the outdoor post to help get up cement step to get into our room. I also had a hard time getting around in my room because I use a walker. I could not bring my walker into the bathroom, so my husband had to help me each time, even in the middle of the night. I aso do not like the desk chair because it is hard to get into because of the long arms and there isn't hardly any room to pull the chair out to get into it because the bed is right there! THIS would not be a problem if the chair did not have any arms AND that it could swivel, That would be good! So the room was not very comfortable for me at all... especially for $258 ... After seeing the room, we tried to cancel our reservation because it would be hard for me. WE could NOT cancel so we had to stay or loose $258 for nothing. Even though they said that they would not have problem filling the room from someone else. I just wished that they would have been a little helpful, because of my handicapped condition. We will definately NOT be staying there anymore! The most uncomfortable part was the desk chair because I had to end up sitting sideways all night ... Try to type sideways!!!

I needed two rooms, so saving money was a priority. I booked and then read the reviews. I was so nervous like it was going to just be a dump and have bed bugs.. it’s not as bad as they say it is. Now is it Holiday Inn? No, this isn’t, it’s the rode way inn. They are no dealing with crap, so once you get past his no nonsense approach you will be just fine. I think they are very nice people, they just deal with annoying people so they have to have their guard up. I would book here again, the rooms are clean, everything works, little outdated- but hence the price. Comfortable and close to everything:) I expected worse and so I am happy :)

The room was super comfortable and we loved the king bed! The location was great, wirlthin driving distance of downtown (which had plenty of parking). We also loved that they had a wide variety of TV channels for us to watch while we relaxed before bed. The location couldn’t have been better for us! The AC was also amazing after a day of being outside.

Heidi

No breakfast it was included in price just coffee. Beds very comfy and good air conditioning. Staff very nice and got me a ground floor room when I requested it. Would stay there again, loved Grand Haven area.

Michelle

Great location. Easy bike ride to the beach and all the downtown activities for the Coast Guard Fest. Also food options close to the hotel when we were tired of the big crowds.
